So You Want to Watch Football Near the BeltLine?
Whether you’re a die-hard Atlanta Falcons fan, bleeding red and black for the Georgia Bulldogs, or repping Georgia Tech down the street—there’s no better place to catch the game than along the BeltLine. You don’t have to leave the city (or your social life) behind to find the perfect game day setup.
We’re talkin’ cold drinks, massive TVs, and walkable vibes. Here are our favorite football-watching spots actually on or right off the BeltLine:

Park Tavern
📍 At Piedmont Park, Eastside Trail
This one’s a no-brainer. Park Tavern sits right where the Eastside BeltLine meets Piedmont Park and is basically game-day headquarters for Atlanta locals. With over 25 TVs, a huge patio, skyline views, and tons of space—it’s a go-to for watching the Falcons, Dawgs, or even your fantasy team make moves.
Hot Tip: Arrive early to snag a seat outside on a sunny Saturday or Sunday.
Big Game Bar & Grill
📍 Old Fourth Ward, Ralph McGill Blvd
With 35+ TVs, Big Game lives up to its name. This one’s for serious fans who want to hear every call and see every replay—without someone blocking the view. Expect classic bar bites, cold beers, and tons of fellow fans in Georgia gear. Falcons and college football Saturdays are especially lively.
Vibe: Like a sports lodge crashed into a BeltLine hangout spot. We’re into it.
Painted Park
📍 Near Krog Street, Eastside Trail
Newer to the BeltLine scene, Painted Park brings a chill indoor-outdoor experience with killer tacos and plenty of screens. Great for lowkey game days or when you’re splitting your Sunday between football and people-watching. Bonus: It’s super close to Inman Park, so you can brunch, then settle in for the second quarter.
Perfect for: A laid-back Falcons game or catching the second half of a Georgia Tech game after hitting the trail.
Local Game Day Tips
Rock your team colors (and maybe a comfy hat—sun happens).
These spots are walkable, dog-friendly, and totally social.
Planning a Saturday UGA watch party? Get there early. These places fill up fast when the Dawgs play.
Honorable Mentions (Close Enough to Count):
The Albert in Inman Park: Casual, quirky, and always has the game on.
New Realm Brewing: Technically a brewery, but they’ve got screens, wings, and good game day energy.
Final Huddle:
🐶 Georgia Bulldogs fans: Park Tavern is your stomping ground.
🐝 Georgia Tech alumni: Painted Park has chill vibes and smart energy.
🏈 Falcons faithful: Big Game Bar is your BeltLine base.
See you on the trail—and don’t forget to hydrate (with a mimosa or two).
Game On!
