Love At First Skate: Speed Dating on Ice

A fresh twist on singles events hits the ice with Love At First Skate: Speed Dating on Ice, a playful winter evening that blends speed dating, movement, music, and real-life connection in one magical night. Singles from across the city gather at Park Tavern’s ice rink — part of the seasonal winter wonderland that transforms Midtown Atlanta into a festive skating destination. 

Attendees begin the night with check-in and a rink-side mixer complete with drinks and a DJ setting the vibe. Participants are divided into groups and rotate through four 30-minute speed-dating slots on the ice, where matchmakers help pair skaters for fun, relaxed chats while they glide and laugh together. When not skating, guests are free to mingle rink-side, grab drinks, dance, and soak up the energy.

After the structured speed-dating rounds, the rink opens up for The Wild Round — open skate, mingling, and unstructured connection time where sparks often fly. Skating isn’t required to participate, but it’s highly encouraged for a playful, unforgettable experience.

Attendees should bring socks for skate rentals and dress warmly for the rink environment. All ticket sales are final; by attending, guests consent to being photographed or filmed at the event.
