The Great Pumpkin Carving Festival

  • Atlanta Botanical Garden 1345 Piedmont Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30309 United States (map)

Get ready to fall under autumn’s spell at one of Atlanta’s most festive nights of the season — the Great Pumpkin-Carving Festival at the Atlanta Botanical Garden! 🎃✨

This isn’t your average pumpkin patch party. Think Oktoberfest meets harvest fair — lederhosen, live music, pumpkin carving, pretzels, and plenty of fall flair. Grab your crew, don your best costume (yes, they’re encouraged), and get ready for a magical night under the garden lights.

🌻 Here’s what’s happening:

🎃 Pumpkin Carving Competition: Watch talented carvers turn gourds into jaw-dropping works of art. Vote for your favorite at the carving stations for the Visitor’s Choice Award, announced at 8:15 PM.

👑 Scarecrow Awards: Stick around as the Garden crowns the Scarecrows in the Garden winners at 6:30 PM, it’s the perfect crossover event for Atlanta’s favorite fall tradition.

🎶 Live Entertainment: Dance to German brass jams from Martin and the Stein Shakers and enjoy acoustic sets from Sweet Auburn String Band in the Rose Garden.

🍁 Family Fun: The Rose Garden turns into a fall carnival complete with a kids movie on the big screen, pumpkin crafts, and face painting by Pixie and Luna.

🍻 Food & Drinks: From savory crepes to warm pretzels, s’mores, and coffee cocktails, the lineup of local food trucks will keep you cozy all night long.

💫 Pro Tip: Go premium! Premium ticket holders get express check-in, a free cocktail or mocktail, a sweet treat, and a Garden keepsake. (A little luxury never hurt anyone, right?)

🚗 Parking is $10, but rideshare users, walkers, and bikers get a free mocktail ticket and a chance to win passes to a future Garden event, love that for us.

So dust off your lederhosen, grab your pumpkin-loving pals, and celebrate fall in true Atlanta style. 🎃🍂
